Moms of pre-teens and teens:

Are you looking to find deeper connection, better understanding of one another, and improve your communication with your daughter? Do you both feel overwhelmed by all your responsibilities and activities and would love the chance to enjoy just being with each other?

Join our mother/daughter dance/movement therapy group! We will explore ways to connect with each other away from technology, discuss ways to resolve conflict, and learn ways to handle those difficult emotions and feelings that arise during teen and adolescent years. No prior dance experience is necessary!

The group will run for 6 weeks, beginning February 22nd, 2020 and meeting each Saturday from 1-3pm until March 28th, 2020. Participating for the full 6 weeks is ideal for learning as much as you can, but joining for fewer sessions is also an option.

Pricing:

For one mother/child pair, enrollment is $150 for the full 6 weeks, $20 for each

additional child.

Individual Saturday enrollment (1 to 5 sessions) are $20 for mother/daughter pair, $8 for each additional child.

Group Leader: Adrianne McKee, MS, R-DMT Through the creative exploration of movement, I seek to help others feel more grounded, integrated, and connected to themselves and to others. Dance/ movement therapy can be a vital tool for healing, stress reduction, increased self- esteem, and improvement of mood. By focusing on our bodies, as well as our minds, we can seek to be more aware of our internal emotional states and learn ways to cope with our external environment.
